Tax Preparation Pricing

A return prepared correctly, and reviewed with you line by line.

Transparent tax preparation pricing starts here. Pink Harbor is a premium, full-service CPA firm for the discerning taxpayer — the client who wants every deduction found, every obligation minimized, and no stone left unturned. Pink Harbor is not the cheapest firm. We aim to be the one you trust most.

Prepared by CPAs & IRS Enrolled Agents Member, AICPA & NJCPA Open year-round

What that actually means for you

Behind every tax preparation pricing tier at Pink Harbor are the details most firms skip.

01

Every return is completed by a CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent — never a seasonal preparer.

02

We review every return line by line with you before you sign, so you understand it — and so we can catch deductions or credits you didn't know you were entitled to.

03

Sensitive documents move through our secure client portal — never over email.

04

We're open all year. We don't close up shop on April 16th.

05

A full team — CPAs, Enrolled Agents, bookkeepers, and administrative staff. Not a one-person shop.

06

We stand behind our work, held to AICPA standards, using professional-grade software built for accuracy.

A few things worth knowing before your appointment:
  • Schedule C and Schedule E filings require a profit & loss statement for each business or property. If we need to prepare that statement for you, it's billed separately as accounting work.
  • Schedules B and E carry additional charges beyond 5 stock sales, 5 interest payors, or 5 dividend payors.
  • These fees cover tax preparation only. Tax planning and consulting are billed separately — we're glad to answer simple strategy questions during your appointment as time allows, but in-depth planning is its own engagement.

Questions about pricing

Why is pricing "starting at" instead of a fixed number?

Your tax preparation pricing starts based on filing status and homeownership. From there, the final fee reflects the actual complexity of your return — additional schedules, extra investment activity, or unusual circumstances that take more time to prepare correctly.

What if my return is more complex than these categories?

We often won't know the full complexity of a return until we begin preparing it. Whenever possible, we'll let you know about anything beyond the standard scope — and what it adds to the fee — early in the engagement. That said, this isn't always possible, since some complexities aren't apparent until we're already working on your return.

Do you offer tax planning or consulting?

Yes — as a full-service firm, we support tax planning, advisory, accounting, and tax problem resolution. These are separate engagements from tax preparation; ask us about them at your appointment.

I have a rental property or a small business. How does that affect my price?

Each rental property is a Schedule E ($200) and each business is a Schedule C ($250), added to your base filing fee. If we're preparing a profit & loss statement for you, that's quoted separately as accounting work.

What if I need to file in more than one state?

Your first state is included in your base fee. Each additional state is $125.

What documents do I need to bring to my appointment?

When you schedule, you'll automatically receive a checklist, and our tax documents checklist guide walks through exactly what to gather beforehand so your appointment moves smoothly.

How do I schedule my appointment?

You can book directly through our online scheduling page. Once booked, we'll set up your secure client portal and send your document checklist right away.

Can I get an estimate before I book?

Pink Harbor's tax preparation pricing on this page reflects our starting rates. For a more detailed estimate based on your specific situation, call us at 856-226-9524.

In many cases, we won't know the full complexity of a return until we begin preparing it. Most returns are completed at the rates quoted here, but certain complexities can increase the price. Whenever possible, we'll let you know about a higher price early in the engagement — though this isn't always possible, since some complexities aren't apparent until we're already working on your return.
